GPOYW: Anxiously awaiting my trip east with this lady in ONE WEEK Edition!!!!

Yesterday I was pleasantly surprised by my Tumblr Buddy Reveal Package in the mail!

Who doesn’t know that the most wonderful things come in small packages???

I was so excited when I opened the box to find…

which I, of course, HAD to wear today! I love, love, love it and have gotten SO MANY compliments on it already!

Thank you so much to my wonderful Buddy (drum roll…) Emily! I was so excited to find out it was you…I had NO idea! You have been such a great Buddy and I can’t thank you enough for all the wonderful cards and gifts this past year. You are officially my jewelery go-to-girl! And I hope to see you on my next NYC trip!

Among the many wonderful things we did in NYC eating was a huge deal…I am, after all, married to a man whose next meal is THE most important thing in the world! No seriously!

Friday afternoon, after a great day at Liberty and Ellis Islands, we made our way to Chelsea Market. I loved it! It was so cute and full of shops, bakeries and restaurants. It is definitely a place I must return to!

We chose a little place called Friedman’s to grab some lunch.

Chris had the most amazing Matzo Ball Soup

I had a BLTA with Chicken and this wonderful aioli

And we shared Herb Fries. These were the most incredible fries I have ever had!

And on our last full day in the city we met up with Caitfor lunch at Brasserie Ruhlmann where this gem was had

My first ever Lobster Roll. Everything you have heard is true…they are unbelievable! Not to mention it came with fries and this amazing curry mayo!

In 16 days I will be sitting on a plane with a drink in my hand, not giving a FUCK about work, on my way to my east coast vacay!!!! I can’t wait to get out of here…work is crazy, house hunting is crazy, life is crazy! I’m so ready to travel with two of my most favorite people, visit family and end my vacation visiting my favorite, long lost besties!

I will be making a trip to my dad’s home town in Maryland this summer for a memorial there and to see the rest of my family and to enjoy the Eastern Shore in all it’s summer glory! 

BUT I will also be making a return trip to NYC to see the beautiful city and it’s beautiful people!!! We (hubs gets to come this time and my mom will be with us too!) will be in town June 21 - 26th. I hope I get to see as many of you as I can while I’m there!

I will be in your fair city in 10 days! I’m beyond excited! Tumblr meetup anyone?
